I-70 Exit 202 travel west to Hendrysburg. Between Hendrysburg and Sewellsville, take Cty Rd 108 north. Go about 3-4 miles and the barn is on the right. The quilt pattern is on the north side of the barn. |

I-70 Exit 216, go south on Rt. 9 approx. 3 miles. Make a left on Cty Rd. 5. Go 3 more miles and barn is on the right (down the hill) before Glencoe.
Oliver 1655, a favorite tractor used yet today...built from 1969 to 1975.

Follow directions to Simpson Barn. Pass it by about 3 miles before Centerville -- on the left.
Creator and daughter loved horses. After losing her daughter at age 17, the mother spent years recreating the things her daugher loved in her quilts.

I-70 Exit 208, go south on #149. Turn right (west) onto #147. At Bethesda 4-way stop, continue west on #147. The barn is located approx. half way between Barnesville and Bethesda across from South Central Power on #147 at 37850 Bethesda-Barnesville Rd.
The tulip pattern made by grandma is the quilt on her bed, a remembrance of her needlework. |

I-70 Exit 208, go south on #149. At the stop sign turn left (east) onto #147. Go to the top of the hill, turn left at the stop sign. Follow #147 southeast out of Belmont approx. 3 miles, the barn is on the left side. It is before Dysart Woods.
Animals were herded to the river. Location is on the Drovers' Trail Scenic Byway. |

In agriculture, normally you need a couple. The love of family and agriculture is signified. There are hearts on the border and a twig with berries is being shared between the birds. |

This guitar pattern represents the largest country music event held in Belmont County annually.

Ohio Bicentennial Logo 2003 with quilt pattern surrounding. This was the first barn in all of Ohio's 88 counties to get painted by Scott Hagan, the noted bicentennial barn painter from Jerusalem, Ohio. The barn was then repainted to add the quilt pattern surround in 2008. |
